Last summer I shot an assignment for Montana Magazine about families who own private cabins inside the boundaries of Glacier National Park. These homes have been in the ownership of the families for generations and are grandfathered in to remain in private ownership. It is really remarkable to think that when many of the homes were built, people still took boats across Lake McDonald for groceries and supplies.
